  Set the record straight!

  i would like to state publicly, on this forum, i no longer hold the views i had a year ago.. with much thought, research, study and logical examination i have come to a better understanding of my beliefs and where i stand on all these issues.. i'm very happy to announce i have returned to healthful teaching of the holy scriptures and i firmly believe that the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is the faithful slave.. sorry if i have contibuted to any kind of stumbling and know that if i can turn things around then there's hope for all who come to there sence.. phill4:6,7.

  interesting observations i've noticed when visiting my uber elder cousin and his wife.

  he just inherited a lovely home on the water on puget sound from his non jw dad who passed away earlier this year.

  so they have spent many $$$ and months remodeling this house to their standards which are quite expensive tastes.

  "Only Witnesses demonstrate Christian Love"

  so a couple of nights ago i was speaking with a relative and we began talking about the organization.

  i had to asked her "why do you believe that this religion is the correct one?

  " they stood quiet for a second but then said that they view and feel genuine christian love, a type of love that is spoken about in the bible.

  My Son has had a troubled life of addiction and was recently accepted for residence at the Dreams Center of Angelus Temple. I'd not heard of it before so did a quick Web Search. What I discovered was incredible!

  Christendom certainly has its flaws but shows some Real Love for the downtrodden. There are many, many more examples virtually everywhere.

  Watchtower Annulled My Baptism

  contrary to popular belief you can have your baptism annulled as i did by my local elders after my judicial hearing.. the watchtower of 1964 page 126 first paragraph clearly states that anyone that was committing a gross sin before, during and after their baptism is void.

  in order to get right with the lord you would need to be re-baptised.

  err no thanks, i'm not a believer!!!!.

  Could it be that the Elders referred to in the OP are well aware of the Nature of the Corporation? Since the WTBorg Inc. type of "baptism" is in reality a Corporation Ritual disguised as the Biblical Baptism it could be "undone" in accordance with Corporation Rules.

  This, of course, falls into the category of "good news!" Further evidence that the WTBorg Inc. truly are a Cult of Deception. Workers of The Adversary. The Brainchild of the Rothschild Masonic Dynasty.

  the first thing i saw when i went in was the two video screens having the watchtower singers chorus doing a number.

  the sound wasn't up enough to make out the song, but the video was grotesque.

  the singers were swaying to the music, all independent of each other, no discipline, actually sloppy-looking.

  All things Evil contain within them the seeds of their own destruction. Not "destruction" as the WTBorg Inc. teach, but a falling apart transformation. It would seem that the WTBorg Inc.'s Love of Money and Need for More Membership is taking it into some New Territory.

  Swayin' to the Music is not a bad thing. Actually, it can be a very good thing.

  Many have wondered and have fallen prey to erroneous predictions regarding "the end." The Word does give us some clues.

  I enjoy reading these commentaries as they make some sense.

  so my aunt hates pcs but works in a office job and uses a pc to do work she has worked there for 23 years she taking me and my brothers laptops etc and she said i have to earn it doing jw things studying listening at meetings etc.. so if it is the last time i post hear i thank you all for you have told me i wish the all of you the best life you can have.i will try to post hear this will start when im in school..

  As long as you have an awareness of how the indoctrination is conducted and how it works you'll be able to resist and maintain. You may have to engage some "role playing" in order to get along as you very carefully continue your efforts in this forum but it looks like you're headed in the right direction. You've been given some very good advice by others here. Best wishes to you and always know that the "Helper" will aid you to remain free. There is much peace in knowing TTATT even while in their midst.

  on sunday morning in the watchtower study, a "study" who was their for the 1st time put his hand up and said; "i have a question.

  when the paragraph says give up everything, it doesn't really mean give up everything like the pearl merchant, does it, like be willing to lose my modest house, cheap car and other basics i own?

  i mean, that sounds a bit much".. the watchtower conductor said in response; "no, it's just a parable and it doesn't mean give up everything.

  The parables told by the Son of Man had spiritual meanings rather than literal meanings. He spoke in parables that were difficult to comprehend for a reason. It was/is much more about modifying our biases, our lusts, our desires, our obsessions; while developing compassion and love for our fellow man.

  To become givers rather than takers.

  The parables still are difficult for the many to comprehend.

  recently quit being a jw because i realised that beyond armageddon i was going to be ruled by people who cover up child abuse, not telling the congregations by their letter where the money they donated in the box is going towards paying compensation for legal battles which they caused, and also i was bullied by elders and discriminated against for being homosexual, even though i am not practicing it.

  it wasn't until i threatened legal action for a breach of confidence that the elders were deleted.

  so through the media and my own personal experience, i realised that they were no different to corrupt businesses in the world.
